Good Life Quotes

Yes! It all started with the song "Good Life" by One Republic.  The song is so contagious, so upbeat, so positive that I felt the urge to write more about the good life.  Every normal human being wants to live a good life.  Then again, life has its ups and downs, and sometimes, we need inspiring words to see the light at the end of the tunnel.  So, I've decided to compile some good life quotes to help all of us see the glass as half full, instead of half empty.

"As far as we can discern, the sole purpose of human existence is to kindle a light in the darkness of mere being. " - Carl Jung

"Live all you can:it's a mistake not to.  It doesn't so much matter what you do in particular, so long as you have your life.  If you haven't had that, what have you had?" - Henry James

"Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment." - Buddha

"We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give."- Winston Churchill

"Not life, but good life, is to be chiefly valued."-Socrates

"The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate."- Oprah Winfrey

"The good life is one inspired by love and guided by knowledge"- Bertrand Russell

"Three things are needed for a good life, good friends, good food and good song."-Jason Zebahazy

According to Albert Einstein, "There are only two ways to live your life.  One is though nothing is a miracle.  The other is though everything is a miracle."  I say, I choose the later.  I've always loved life, but I've also had my share of ups and downs, but then again, nothing pays as much as seeing the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Good Life by One Republic

I was preparing for my first post in this blog, when I came across the "Good Life" lyrics by One Republic.  I am neither familiar with the song, nor the singer, so I decided to check it out.  After all, since I decided to blog about the good life, there's nothing wrong about humming my way through it.

The song's melody is contagious; its lyrics, relevant.  It conveys a message that at times, unpredictable things happen to all of us, but what the heck, It's still a good life.  I love the last phrase--"What there is to complain about?"

This American band from Colorado called One Republic, radiates positivity through its music and strengthens hope that amidst life's unpredictability, life is still good and it should be!  I just hope that most young people would look at life the same way.  Below is the link to the lyrics and the video!  This could really be a good life! Now, I am experiencing LSS- Last Song Syndrome.
